BBA Program
The Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) program at NMIMS is thoughtfully structured to meet the evolving expectations of the global business environment. The curriculum is regularly reviewed and updated in consultation with industry experts to ensure relevance and practical applicability. Students are provided a strong foundation in core business principles during the initial years and are given the opportunity to specialize in Finance or Marketing in their latter years.
Benchmarking international academic standards, the BBA program emphasizes a customized, career-oriented learning experience through advanced and specialized courses in the third year and fourth year. The program is designed to develop analytical, managerial, and leadership competencies, preparing graduates for managerial roles and further professional growth across diverse business domains.
B.Com Program

Manifest 24 – A Celebration of Talent and Teamwork
Held on October 9 at NMIMS Chandigarh, Manifest 24 brought together 340 participants from 170 teams representing institutions such as PGGC,
SD, MCM, Amity University, DPS, and Punjab University. The competition unfolded through engaging rounds including an MCQ Quiz, Wordplay,
Escape Room challenges, and a dynamic Bidding Round, testing creativity, problem-solving, and collaboration. Abhyuday and Ayush,
third-year BCom students of NMIMS Chandigarh, emerged as the winners. The day concluded with inspiring addresses by Dr. Rashmi Khorana Nagpal,
Director I/C, and chief guest Mr. Ivninder Pal Singh, Chief Sub Editor,
The Tribune, followed by award distribution and vibrant
student performances—making Manifest 24 a memorable celebration of talent and teamwork.
MANIFEST 2025 – A Showcase of Knowledge and Strategy
Held on September 27 at NMIMS Chandigarh, MANIFEST 2025 brought together 210 participants from 105 teams representing leading institutions
such as PEC, Panjab University, AMITY, and others. Organized by the School of Commerce in collaboration with the Corporate Interface Cell,
the flagship inter-college quiz competition featured three engaging rounds—Quiz & Wordplay, Escape Room, and Corporate Bidding—
designed to test participants’ knowledge, teamwork, and strategic thinking, making the event a dynamic celebration of intellect and
innovation.
SVKM’s NMIMS Chandigarh Convocation Ceremony 2025 – Celebrating Academic Excellence
Held on 28 August 2025 at NMIMS Chandigarh, the Convocation Ceremony was graced by the Hon’ble Governor of Punjab and Administrator
of Chandigarh, Shri Gulab Chand Kataria. The ceremony commenced with a traditional academic procession and was attended by senior leadership
from SVKM and NMIMS, including Shri Jagdish B. Parikh, Dr. Ramesh Bhatt, Dr. Meena Chintamaneni, Dr. Meenu Mehta, Dr. Tanmoy Chakraborty,
and Dr. Jyotsna Singh. Degrees were formally conferred by the Hon’ble Governor, outstanding students and faculty were honoured for their
achievements, and key milestones in research, innovation, and student engagement were highlighted. Among the Outstanding Academic Achievers,
Janhvi Goel (B.Com Hons.) was recognised for academic excellence.
Echoes of the Ink – A Celebration of Literature and Thought Leadership
Hosted at NMIMS Chandigarh,
the inaugural edition of
Echoes of the Ink marked a thoughtful celebration of literature, dialogue, and intellectual
engagement. The programme opened with a traditional lamp-lighting ceremony and Saraswati Vandana, setting a reflective tone. The event was
graced by Shri Subhash Chandra Garg, Former Finance Secretary of India, as the keynote guest, featuring his book
No, Minister.
Drawing from his 36-year journey in public service, Shri Garg shared valuable insights on conviction, integrity, and critical thinking in
leadership and education. A stimulating conversation with CA Pankaj Kapoor, Assistant Professor, School of Commerce, delved into the themes
of ethical governance and the responsibility of decision-making in public service. The interactive session witnessed enthusiastic participation
from students and faculty, followed by closing remarks from Dr. Jyotsna Singh, Director, NMIMS Chandigarh, highlighting the institution’s
vision of nurturing a strong reading culture. The event concluded with the felicitation of the keynote guest, presentation of Best Reader
Awards, and the National Anthem, leaving participants inspired and enriched.

Prayatan – CSR Club promotes social responsibility and community engagement by involving students in outreach initiatives, sustainability drives, and social awareness programmes.
The Corporate Interface Club bridges the gap between academia and industry through corporate interactions, expert talks, workshops, and networking opportunities, preparing students for professional careers.
The Cultural Club provides a platform for creative expression and cultural exchange, encouraging student participation in campus celebrations, performances, and inter-institutional events.
The Literary Club nurtures communication skills and intellectual engagement through debates, discussions, writing activities, and public speaking forums.
